My approach

Lucy is a therapist, who trained at The Institute of Body Psychotherapy in Core Energetics, a form of Body Psychotherapy that was developed by John Pierrakos, with roots in the teachings of Freud, Jung and Wilhelm Reich. Unlike Psychology or Counselling Core Energetics focuses on trauma held in body armouring, muscles and tissues. Releasing this trauma allows you to get in touch with your core being. I do this by guiding you through different exercises, breath work, bio energetic vibration and grounding techniques in a slow and steady manner. I am also trained in TRE or Trauma Release Exercises developed by David Bercelli.
